Fangs out, vamps! ‘Interview With The Vampire’ Season 2 has revealed its premiere date together with a new trailer.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe uploaded a new teaser for the second season of the hit vampire series ‘Interview With The Vampire’ on February 7, Wednesday, with the caption ”Who are you without your past?”

The 30-second video starts with Claudia (Delainey Hayles), Louis’ charge, asking him “Who are you, Louis? Who are you outside of me? If there was no me, and there was no him – who would you be?”

What follows next is flashes of violence, sex, and more blood which will further send fans into a tizzy as the anticipation for the series gets higher.

The official synopsis of the show says “A sensuous, contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia’s (Hayles) epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Chafing at the limitations of life as a Black man in 1900s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat de Lioncourt’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion. But Louis’s intoxicating new powers come with a violent price, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and atonement.”

Interview with the Vampire premieres May 12 on AMC and AMC+ in the US.
