‘Our Flag Means Death’ has dropped a new trailer for its second season featuring Rhys Darby and Taika Waititi plus a glimpse of a fabulous drag moment from Kristian Nairn.
Max has released the trailer for the hit pirate series picking up where the first season left off with Blackbeard aka Ed (played by Waititi) thinking that Stede (played by Darby) had abandoned him and the crew but a serendipitous moment had led them to reunite once more.
The trailer starts off with a melancholic Stede reflecting that he let Ed down and he should have confessed his feelings. Stede is resolute in finding him but he is told that Ed will kill him for dumping him. “Because The Night” by Patti Smith Group plays in the background as Ed and Stede awkwardly meet once again and introduce themselves as former shipmates. As the trailer progresses, we see more of the antics of our beloved pirate crew as well as a glimpse of Wee John Feeney (played by Nairn) in a blue bejeweled gown complete with dragtastic makeup.
