The summer heat is here because Troye Sivan has dropped another queer anthem with the release of his single ‘Rush.’
The queer pop star released the music video for his much-awaited title track ‘Rush’ on July 13, Thursday. The sexy dance single is immediately dubbed by fans as the “gay bop of the summer” especially with its steamy music video. The opening shot is of someone showing off his ruddy behind and slapping it which also sets the tone for the queerly hedonistic MV.
What followed was a lot of voguing, pole dancing, drinking, and making out. Oh, and lots of naked, gyrating bodies, too. In one scene, Sivan can be seen in a public toilet, through what looks like a glory hole. In another, someone urinates into a bush. Scandalously queer, indeed!
Aside from releasing the single, Sivan has also officially announced on his Instagram his third studio album, ‘Something to Give Each Other,’ which is set to be released on Friday, October 13. This new album will follow 2015’s ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ and 2018’s ‘Bloom.’
