Fans went crazy over Troye Sivan’s promo for his upcoming single ‘Rush.’
It only took a few naughty pictures on his social media and a snippet of his latest single for fans to go gaga with excitement over the Aussie singer’s comeback.
On June 17, the 27-year-old singer posted a photo on Instagram laying on the pavement of New York City with ‘Rush’ spray painted on the ground as he shows off his arm and armpit.
Fans quickly flocked to the comments to say that the armpit exposure is definitely intentional.
“You better expose that pit,” a user commented.
Sivan also posted earlier this week a screenshot of a fan’s tweet that featured a packet of condoms with the name ‘Rush’ in the sachet.
It is notable that his single not only shares a similar name with the world’s most famous brand of poppers– a drug taken by gay men while bottoming to help them relax– but the typography of his title seems to be directly inspired by the same drug, from the color choices to the font style.
On June 15, Sivan also posted a Tiktok video on his Twitter account with a snippet of his song with his naked picture in the background which delighted fans.
“Popper anthem incoming,” said one Twitter user. “I’m obsessed with Troye Sivan using bottom culture to promote his new era,” another one added.
