‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ alum Shangela, known outside of drag as Darius Jeremy Pierce, has broken his social media hiatus since receiving a number of sexual assault allegations.

A Rolling Stone report wrote that five people were alleged victims of sexual assault by Pierce, four of whom allegedly had nonconsensual sex with or were forced to have sex by the drag queen while the fifth person claimed that, “Pierce attempted anal penetration in a bathroom closet despite rejecting his advances.”
Pierce denied all allegations and has taken a break from social media since.
On April 5, Friday, Piere posted a photo with his mom and expressed his gratitude for the support he has received from his mother and fans.
