‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ alum and former ‘We’re Here’ host Shangela is facing new multiple sexual assault allegations.

According to an article from Rolling Stone published on Monday, March 18, Shangela, also known as Darius Jeremy “DJ” Pierce, is being accused of several sexual assaults by four people who allegedly had nonconsensual sex with or were forced to have sex by the drag queen while a fifth person claimed that, “Pierce attempted anal penetration in a bathroom closet despite rejecting his advances.”
All five came forward following a previous lawsuit filed against Pierce by an HBO production assistant, Daniel McGarrigle.
Last year, Pierce was sued after being accused of raping McGarrigle on February 2020 after a wrap party for ‘We’re Here.’ The actor vehemently denied the allegations saying, “They are personally offensive and perpetuate damaging stereotypes that are harmful not only to me but also to my entire community.”
