Queer Inclusive ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ Joe Locke has expressed his excitement over his character and has hinted that it “doesn’t fit the superhero norm.”
In an interview with Hunger Magazine, Locke shared his excitement and nervousness for the Marvel show, even going so far as to say that it will be a “beast of its own,” adding that he will be playing “a very cool part.”
The 19-year-old Heartstopper actor previously refused to comment on the nature of his character and the production has been tight-lipped about the entire series so far but Locke has dropped a hint or two on the queer-inclusive show.
“I think it’s really important and amazing that Marvel isn’t shying away from telling stories about people that don’t necessarily fit the superhero norm… I just really hope they don’t kill me for saying that!”
While the production has been trying to keep everyone in the dark for now, it seems that fans have figured out that the actor will be playing the role of Billy or Wiccan, the gay twin brother of Tommy also known as WandaVision’s offspring.
