Disney’s queer-inclusive Agatha Harkness spinoff of the hit Marvel series ‘WandaVision’ has changed its name once again and has gotten a new release date.
The much-awaited series, which wrapped production earlier this year, was reported to be delayed from the winter of 2023 all the way to early fall 2024, in response to the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes.
The spin-off which will feature Aubrey Plaza’s (possibly queer) witch, and gay actor Joe Locke has also been retitled ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.’ This is the third different name the show has had, starting as ‘Agatha: House of Harkness,’ and then becoming ‘Coven of Chaos.’
‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ has been renamed to ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ and will release in early fall 2024, according to THR. pic.twitter.com/LvQfl8KlPQ
