Ncuti Gatwa is coming in fresh and fierce!
This openly queer British star rose to stardom for playing the feisty yet loyal best friend in Netflix’s teen sex comedy-drama television series, ‘Sex Education’. Since Ncuti said goodbye to his character Eric Effiong, the actor has gone to play a version of Ken in the summer blockbuster hit ‘Barbie’ and 2nd Lt. Robert Daniels in the miniseries ‘Masters of Air’.

‘Doctor Who’
Gatwa was announced to be the fifteenth doctor all the way back in 2022. He made his first official appearance and cameo during the 60th-anniversary special episode alongside David Tennant (10th and 14th Doctor) and his full series is finally streaming on Disney+ with episodes releasing every week!
According to Gatwa, his take on the doctor will be refreshing as he will give the beloved character an excitable and dazzling twist while still filled with emotions the doctor is known for.
“He’s coming in hot … he’s a little bit cocky, my Doctor… he loves to connect, but there’s only so far that he will let you connect with him, despite his love of people and other things,” Gatwa shared to NPR.
