Sydney Sweeney proves that she is a woman to swoon for as she rocks the new “boxer” look for her upcoming Lesbian Biopic that tells the story of Christy Martin, one of the most famous American boxers and is also pivotal in legitimizing women’s spot in the professional boxing arena.

In the photos shared by the actress on Instagram, Sweeney is standing between two trailer trucks wearing a striking red sleeveless shirt and sweatpants. She is sporting a head of dark messy curls. Although very different from her usual bombshell look, she is still able to entice the audience with her stare and charisma oozing from the screen!

In the second photo, she poses with her tongue out as she shows off her guns!

The actress noted in her Instagram caption that she had poured her time into training and it indeed shows in her physique! She added how thankful she is to be able to portray “an incredible woman—a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring.“ The actress also emphasized how excited she is to share Christy Martin’s powerful story and promises to show more of this inspiring woman soon.

The untitled biopic also stars another sapphic favorite Katy O’Brian—who snuck her way into people’s hearts when she starred in the film “Love Lies Bleeding”— as Christy’s boxing rival turned wife, Lisa Holewyne. Alongside O’Brian and Sweeney is Ben Foster who will play James Martin— Christy’s ex-husband who tried to kill her.
