Hari Nef is returning for ‘Barbie’ as a doll, but she’s also coming back to our screens with a queer thriller titled ‘Bad Things’, and the first look photos are out!
‘Bad Things’ tells the story of a group of queer friends who take on a weekend trip only to find themselves in a rather nasty and bloody situation — where women do terrible things.
The official description says: “For a group of friends in the Northeast, a weekend getaway at a snowy resort sounds like just what the doctor ordered. An opportunity to reconnect, relax, and recuperate among serene, snow-capped mountains and trees. But peace doesn’t last long as the ghosts of guests past and relationships long buried come to light. Soon enough, their trip transforms into a psychological tailspin and bloody nightmare, as both long-deceased guests and the space itself come to life, and the group turn on each other in a race to stay alive.”
Aside from Hari Nef, ‘Bad Things’ will also star Gayle Rankin (‘GLOW’), Annabelle Dexter-Jones (‘Succession’), nonbinary Betty star Rad Pereira, Jared Abrahamson (‘Ramy’), and Molly Ringwald. ‘Bad Things’ was directed and written by Steward Thorndike who also directed the erotic mystery 1999 film ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ and the 2014 horror ‘Lyle’.
