Heads up, Heartstopper fans! Season 2 premieres on August 3rd!
If you have missed Nick, Charlie, and the rest of the ‘Heartstopper’ gang, you’re in for a big treat because the series’ second season is premiering this coming August! Streaming service Netflix announced the release date of the series while showing some exclusive behind-the-scenes clips and interviews of the cast and crew.

In the clip, we see familiar faces and new ones. Some of the cast are also interviewed on what to expect from their respective characters in the upcoming season. Kit Connor, who plays Nick Nelson, said that Alice Oseman has got an “amazing script” for them, while Yasmin Finney, who plays Elle Argent, says she is looking forward to a “more confident Elle.”
Netflix has been dropping hints about releasing something special for all the ‘Heartstopper’ fans, especially since the first season premiered exactly a year ago. Clips and photos of the cast in Paris, as it stays true to the webcomic story, have also spread like wildfire during their filming time there. Additionally, the official Netflix account also added a photo of the young cast:

In such few phrases, you can get a glimpse of what we can expect from Nick and Charlie’s relationship (and the challenges they might face); Tara and Darcy’s issues individually and as a couple (maybe); and… will we get to see Tao and Elle together as a couple?!
We will definitely have to see the second season of ‘Heartstopper’ coming this August 3rd on Netflix.
