Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama television series on Netflix, adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman — starring Kit Connor, Joe Locke, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell and more. It was released on 22 April 2022 and received critical acclaim, particularly for its tone and pacing, as well as its representation of the LGBT community. Meanwhile, the first season received nine nominations and five wins for the inaugural ceremony of the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.

Boy meets boy. Boys become friends. Boys fall in love. Charlie and Nick are at the same school, but they’ve never met… until one day when they’re made to sit together.
