Ghostly Gay Romance ‘All of Us Strangers’ Reveals Intriguing Poster

The poster for the ghostly gay romance ‘All of Us Strangers’ starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal has been released.

The poster shows off Adam (played by Scott) and Harry (played by Mescal) in a swanky hi-rise building. While we can see the silhouettes of the two leads, with Adam looking down while Harry has his fist against the window, the other neighbors are closed off with the windows that line the building have their curtains shut.

The official description from Searchlight Pictures goes: “One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (a screenwriter, played by Scott) has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry (played by Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where it appears his long-dead parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) are both living and look the same age as the day they died thirty years before.”

As indicated in the poster, ‘All of Us Strangers’ has already gained popularity at this year’s film festivals. It has been an official selection at The BFI London Film Festival, The Telluride Film Festival, and The New York Film Festival.

The film is directed by Andrew Haigh and is produced by Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin, and Sarah Harvey. The film is loosely based on the 1987 Japanese novel “Strangers” by Taichi Yamada and the second movie to adapt the book with the first one being “The Discarnates.”

‘All of Us Strangers’ is set to release in theaters on December 22.
