The Filipino family sapphic film ‘Saan Ako Pinaglihi’ has gifted fans with some behind-the-scenes pictures ahead of its premiere.

On March 13, Wednesday, the official X account of ‘Saan Ako Pinaglihi’ shared a couple of BTS photos of its adorable cast including its lead actors, Zoey Madison Lim, Cristina Diego Ponce, and Chase Salazar.

The pictures show the cast and crew bonding on the set and exhibit the tremendous effort and love that went into the filming of this movie.

An official synopsis of the film reads, “Being raised by two lesbian parents, eight-year-old Chinky is curious to discover how she was conceived.”

The movie introduces its viewers to “paglilihi,” a Filipino cultural concept about pregnancy and how external factors such as morning sickness, inexplicably liking someone or something, and developing extreme cravings for certain types of food can supposedly influence the physical attributes of the baby inside the mother’s womb, as well as influence its personality growing up.

The film is written and directed by Ma. Rafaela Mae Abucejo and is produced by Joshua de Vera. It is an official entry to the 2024 Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival.

‘Saan Ako Pinaglihi’ also stars Jenelle Amber Santaolaya, Kian Co, Prince Espana, Jenny De Vera-Clemente, Marlon Sonny Ducay, and Jem Manicad.

You can catch ‘Saan Ako Pinaglihi’ this March 15 to March 17 at Gateway Cineplex, Araneta Cubao.
