It’s time to feel the embrace that fills him with warmth in ‘Blue Noise’, now available to stream at GagaOOLala!

‘Blue Noise’ is a 16-minute short film that was released last year. It was nominated for the Generation 14plus Best Short Film category at the 2022 Berlin International Film Festival. The short film is an official selection of the 2022 Vienna Shorts, 2022 Brussels Short Film Festival, 2022 Beijing International Short Film Festival, and 2023 Wicked Queer: Boston’s LGBTQ+ Film Festival. It stars actors Marvin Nando Nenning, Rainer Sellien, and Mathias Herrmann, and is directed by Simon Maria Kubiena.

A young apprentice craftsman is dazed, and not only due to the noise at work. In a chaotic world, among dominant colleagues, an inaccessible father as well as a demanding girlfriend, the young man seeks closeness. In the process, he crosses a boundary and gets to know himself a bit better.
