‘Euphoria’ star Jacob Elordi and ‘The Eternals’ actor Barry Keoghan have been announced to star in the new erotic queer thriller ‘Saltburn.’
Directed by Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), ‘Saltburn’ is described as “a wicked tale of privilege and desire.”
The erotic thriller will follow the story of Oxford University student Oliver Quick (played by Oscar-nominated Keoghan) who becomes obsessed with a fellow student, “the charming and aristocratic” Felix Catton (Elordi). As Quick’s obsession escalates, he is then invited to Catton’s estate, Saltburn, where he experiences an unforgettable summer.
Keoghan was recently nominated for best supporting actor at the 2023 Oscars and bagged a BAFTA for his performance in the comedy-drama ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ as Dominic Kearney. Meanwhile, Elordi is best known for ‘The Kissing Booth’ duology and for his portrayal as the heartthrob slash villain Nate Jacobs in ‘Euphoria.’
