A Filipino director teased having a Filipino version of the critically acclaimed Thai BL series ‘I Told Sunset About You’ (ITSAY) after Filipino actors Sean Tristan and Raven Rigor took photos with ITSAY actors Billkin and PP Krit.
Billkin and PP Krit came to Manila last September 10 for a fan meeting at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. As a well-attended show, it is not surprising that Filipino celebrities also watched the fan meet. This included Sean Tristan and Raven Rigor — more popularly known by their on-screen couple name SeVen. The young actors took a pic with the Thai stars and posted it on Instagram.
On Raven Rigor’s Instagram story, he posted the photo with the caption, “[W]e told sunset about you” and tagged all the actors.
Interestingly, Filipino director Victor Kaiba Villanueva, the same director of the Filipino series ‘Beach Bros’ where both Tristan and Rigor starred as a couple, took notice of Rigor’s story and reposted it with a still from ITSAY. He said, “Alam mo, maganda kung may ITSAY PH adaptation” (“You know what, it would be wonderful if there’s an ITSAY PH adaptation”).
