ABS-CBN, a local Philippine network, has recently announced the Star Magical Prom, a prom-themed event happening on March 30, 2023.
The much-awaited event features various local artists and personalities such as Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Xyriel Manabat, and even the members of P-Pop groups BINI, BGYO, and Hori7on. Also in attendance are Sean Tristan and Raven Rigor, who are collectively known as SeVen. The two first shared the screen in Beach Bros, where Sean played Jeremy, a novice vlogger from Baler, and Raven played Pete, Jeremy’s best friend who harbored secret feelings for him. They later played Ace and Clint respectively in the series Dirty Linen, and have most recently been announced to be in the cast of the upcoming project Fractured together.
In anticipation of the Star Magical Prom, Sean asked Raven to go to prom with him by surprising him with balloons that spelled out “PROM” and a painting with the words “hey beach bro, wanna leave paradise for a while and go to STAR MAGICAL PROM together?” in the trunk of a van. The promposal was recorded and Sean uploaded it to Twitter.

Also seen in the video was Sean talking about how he remembered Raven saying that he wanted his first prom to be memorable and Sean hoped that this promposal would make it so. Thankfully for Sean, as well as the pairing’s many fans, Raven said yes before giving Sean a hug. The surprises didn’t end there, however, with Raven excitedly receiving a copy of Junji Ito’s book Smashed from Sean. Raven also took to Twitter with a tweet captioned “got asked to prom :’)” that can be found here:
