Tldr: two hot priests meet, there’s a graveyard and a happy director!

Although we are still months away from the release of ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” or ‘Knives Out 3’, director and creator Rian Johnson confirmed on Instagram that they have indeed finished shooting the film!

In the post, Johnson excitedly dubbed their cast and crew as “most brilliant” and “best”, respectively. He further shared that the filming was a very special experience and he cannot wait to put the movie together.

There’s also an eerie and interesting photo of a graveyard in the photo. This is very on-brand with the title of the film and the essence of its murder mystery genre.

Another treasure that we recently got was the photo of Josh O’Connor who will be playing a priest! We still don’t know the specifics of the film or of his character. But one thing’s for sure is that he is SLAYING in that outfit (forgive us lord for we have sinned). As seen, he looked very serious and focused surveying the leaves. Will he be Benoit Blanc’s (Daniel Craig) new comrade? Or the newest cunning foe? Time will only tell!

Meanwhile, in this other photo, he was photographed with the OG hot priest and another cast member Andrew Scott.

Lastly, the director teased that Benoit Blance aka the star of the ‘Knives Out’ franchise will have a different tone and thematic adventure in the upcoming film!

What will this entail? Will he be part of the murder itself? Will we see more of his romantic side with his hubby (Hugh Grant)?

So many questions… oh so few answers! But tbh that’s what makes the mystery of ‘Knives Out’ so delicious!
