Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen are back with another song, accompanied by a music video! ‘Truth In The Eyes’ is not their first duet together, but the music video is something new for the duo. Let’s take a look!
The video’s setting is a surreal mix between an urban building and a wild jungle, making for quite an interesting backdrop to the music! Despite the song being part of the soundtrack for ‘We Are’, Pond and Phuwin don’t seem to be playing Phum and Peem here, instead taking on new characters, who the lyrics suggest have strong feelings for one another that they struggle to act on. The lovers start the video apart, yet yearning to be with the other. As the song progresses, we see them finally cross paths before sharing heartfelt moments full of physical affection. The signature PondPhuwin chemistry is definitely present in these scenes, as well!
The music is quite slow, being somewhat similar in tone to songs from their previous series, ‘Never Let Me Go’, such as Phuwin’s song, ‘Living For You’. Phuwin even shows off his ability to hit high notes in some parts of the song!
For fans looking for a little visual treat, both actors don’t shy away from having topless scenes in the music video, which also further highlights the intimacy between the characters they portray.
