2023 has just begun, yet Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat have already graced our screens with their undeniable chemistry in two separate BL series.
In My School President, Gemini plays Tinn, the nerdy President of the student council who has had a longtime crush on Gun, the head of the school’s music club, played by Fourth. In Moonlight Chicken, on the other hand, we meet Heart, a deaf kid cooped up inside his house, played by Gemini, and Li Ming, a kid with big dreams who ends up stuck working for Heart’s parents in order to pay off a debt, played by Fourth. Fans of the GeminiFourth pairing were quick to notice many parallels between both couples. 1. Reaching for Something
In the first episode of My School President, viewers are treated to a cute comedic exchange where Gun and Tinn argue while Tinn holds a poster out of Gun’s reach. In Moonlight Chicken’s third episode, we once again see these two boys face to face in a similar position, but this time, they’re helping each other with something high up on a shelf. These two scenes are similar in content, yet unique in context, showing how both couples are alike as well as different in various ways.
2. Cheek Kisses
Another thing both couples are incredibly fond of is quick pecks on each other’s cheeks. This wholesome display of teenage love reflects the young and naive innocence of both couples, which is fitting given how these boys are all in high school throughout both series.
