Following Thai netizens’ negative reaction to his apology, Thai actor Prom Theepakorn issued a follow-up apology.

Trigger warning: mentions of bullying and homophobia

Prom Theepakorn Kwanboon, best known for his role as Pat in the Thai Boys’ Love series My School President, was recently a topic of controversy among BL fans due to his comments on the web series Baddy 3 Friends regarding women’s breasts as well as the story he shared about inappropriately looking at children when he was in high school. While the actor had already issued an apology regarding this, the controversy grew when a now-deleted tweet accused Prom of bullying LGBTQ students in high school. While the accusations are no longer available, some Twitter users have posted summarized translations of the accusations, as seen below.

Now, days after the accusations were posted to Twitter, Prom has finally addressed the issue through an apology on his Twitter account, which already included an English translation. In this Tweet, Prom explained after the allegations of bullying came out, he apologized sincerely to the victim and the two have agreed to be friends following the incident. His friend also apologized for airing their issue publicly. Prom further promised that incidents such as this one will not happen again and said that if he had hurt anyone else with his actions in the past, he was sorry for that as well. He also included a screenshot of his chat with the friend where they resolved their issue. The apology ended with him thanking fans for giving him a second chance to redeem himself.
