Another GMMTV actor, Mark Pakin, is in hot waters over comments he made while consoling his friend and castmate, Prom Theepakorn.
Trigger warning: mentions of body shaming, bullying, and homophobia
While in Japan for a ‘My School President’ fan meeting, cast member Prom Theepakorn Kwanboon found himself on the receiving end of fans’ anger regarding his comments about his fear of large breasts as well as his story about peeking at kindergarteners that he shared while guesting on Baddy 3 Friends, as well as allegations of bullying and homophobia.
Fellow cast member Mark Pakin Kuna-anuvit ended up getting involved when fans recognized his voice in the background of a now-deleted Instagram story posted by Gemini Norawit Titichoenrak, which has been publicly translated by Twitter user @leafluflyfe. In the said clip, Mark and Prom’s manager were heard telling Prom to brush the issue off and that people on the internet would find someone new to be mad at the next day, angering fans who wanted Prom to take responsibility for his words and actions.
