Recollection Begins in ‘Close Friend S3: Soju Bomb’ Episode 4

They had planned to return to Seoul, but instead, they found themselves in a village, where they encountered the shaman, who was familiar with every detail of their lives. They are stopped by some men who question them about Yeri, the girl they went out drinking with the previous night, as they attempt to make their way home. Who is this, Yeri? Furthermore, why are those men after her? Let’s find out in “Close Friend S3: Soju Bomb,” the fourth episode.

Episode 4.

The five friends were shocked when the men who chased them asked them to look for Yeri, the girl whom they drank with last time. Au, Best, Dunk, and Win were tasked with finding Yeri, while Earth and the auntie remained hostage. The four went to an abandoned theme park to look for the girl. The four of them split to find Yuri easily. Au keeps on calling the girl’s name while searching for her. He stops for a while to drink water, but to his surprise, they bring alcohol. Dunk and Win search for Yerii together, and when they try to look up, they see two bottles of soju and a shot glass. They then recalled that all of them had a drink at that theme park that night.

Au got drunk after drinking the alcohol, but still, he continued searching for Yeri. He keeps on making chicken sounds as he remembers that he did that with the girl that night. As he continued searching, he suddenly ended up underground and found Yeri there. The girl was so upset and said that he told her to stay there, but the door was busted and she couldn’t get out. He asked her what happened, and the girl reminded her of what happened that night. They played a game where they would hide their bags at the abandoned amusement park. While everyone was playing, the two of them went to the Vikings and played there.

Yeri hugged Au from behind, which made him shy. Yeri asks if he has a girlfriend, and when he says no, the girl holds his hand and makes him touch her chest. She asked him if he wanted to kiss him, and Au didn’t resist. But even before their lips touched, Yeri laughed, and he thought everything went in slow motion. He gave her his bag for safekeeping. The men who were looking for Yeri came in, so they ran so they wouldn’t get caught. They ended up in a storage room full of costumes and artwork. Yeri hit their heads before they hid.

As the men almost captured them, Au told Yeri to hide in the room so she wouldn’t get caught, but little did they know, that the door was broken. Yeri hugged him as she thanked him for coming back to save her. They found their bags, and finally, Yeri was out of the room. She apologized for the mess she caused, and they told her she needed to get back so the men would release Earth and Auntie. I disagree, but Yeri doesn’t want the hostages to be hurt. As they wait for his friends to come back, Earth calls Soon Young, but before he talks to her, a man comes in, and they bring them to the theme park. They were all surprised when Yeri slapped all the men, and they all apologized for kidnapping her friends.

Yeri gave her hands to Au as she bid goodbye. They all realized that maybe Yeri is part of the Mafia. That night, they stayed at the theme park, remembering where they left Win’s bag. They were at the carousel when Best told them they had to hurry so they could find their passports on time. A moment later, Dunk found spray paint and remembered what happened that night. They were all drunk when Au came back alone with a wound on his head. They were all ranting about how the company abandoned them and the things that could happen if they got the chance to debut.

As they continue drunkenly talking about what could have been, Win says that he thinks everything is impossible anymore. All of them felt sad and disappointed when reality hit them hard. They all laugh when Dunk says he doesn’t want to be an idol; he just wants to be a millionaire. Win says he wants to be a songwriter, and thinking about it makes him happy. While Au says he wants to go home to see his parents, go out for a meal, play soccer with friends, and go back to school, He looks at the night sky and says he wants to fall in love. They laughed and teased him, but Au still wondered how his life would be without all of them.

Earth taps his shoulder and says he went through a lot, and the future will be easy for him. They hugged as a sign that they would support each other no matter what. A moment later, they saw that Earth had a tattoo on his back. They all took off their shirts and found out that the four of them had a back tattoo. Best was confused about why he was the only one who didn’t have a tattoo. And when they took off his pants, they all saw that his tattoo was on his buttocks. They all thought that their tattoos were a clue to something.

Dunk saw a miniature statue of a man and a music stand. When he pressed the button, the music and lights went on. A moment later, some men captured them and covered their faces, and the handcuffs of Earth and the auntie suddenly got broken.

The five friends had met the shaman and were looking for someone who could help them return to Seoul when, all of a sudden, they were captured by men who were looking for Yeri, the girl they had gone out with that evening. Following their orders to locate her, they returned to the abandoned theme park, where they were able to recall many of the incidents that had occurred during their intoxication. Not only did they find Yeri there, but they also learned that the men who had taken them hostage were his bodyguards. When they returned, wondering about what lay ahead, Dun clicked a button that turned on all the lights in the theme park. They had finally located their bags. What fate awaits the group of friends?
