‘My Stand In’ follows Joe, a stuntman for the famous actor Tong, who forms a deep relationship with Ming, unaware that Ming sees him as a replacement for Tong. After Joe’s accidental death on a film set, he wakes up in another boy’s body named Joe. Ming tries to bring Joe back into his life, seeking closure for unfinished business. Will their love finally be fulfilled? The series is a Thai adaptation of the popular Chinese novel “职业替身”, also known as “Professional Body Double” written by Shui Qiancheng. The series stars Up Poompat and Poom Phuripan as the main leads of the upcoming series.
Ming, played by Up Poompat, is a rich kid who accidentally falls in love with the wrong person and unintentionally hurts the feelings of someone they love without intending to.
Joe, played by Poom Phuripan, is a young man who acts as a stand-in both in his professional life and in matters of love.
Sol, played by Porche Thanatorn, is an idol boy who became famous in Korea and is Joe’s younger brother who once made the wrong decision to reject the love that Joe had to offer.
Tong, played by Mek Jirakit, is Ming’s beloved older brother and a popular actor loved nationwide, especially by Ming.
