LOOK: “My Golden Blood” First Updates Since Announcement!

Joss Wayar and Gawin Caskey’s upcoming vampire BL ‘My Golden Blood’ has shared some updates for the first time in months!

The series will tell the story of the vampire Mark and Tong, an ordinary human. Mark develops a fondness for Tong, but things get complicated thanks to Tong’s special blood, which is highly desirable to vampires. Mark not only has to resist the urge to drink Tong’s blood, but to protect Tong from other vampires who wish to take his blood for themselves. Let’s take a look at what the cast and crew have been doing after months of radio silence! Fitting for the series happened towards the end of July, with an accompanying photoshoot. Jojo Tichakorn, a director who has worked on many GMMTV series such as ‘Only Friends’ and ‘Never Let Me Go’, even expressed his excitement for ‘My Golden Blood’s release upon seeing the photos from the fitting.

More recently, the cast was shown doing a script reading together in preparation for shooting. Seen alongside Joss and Gawin in these photos is fellow cast member Neo Trai, who will be playing a currently unnamed character.

Director Ark Saroj also took to Instagram to announce the start of filming! We even got our first look at the set for the series from the official X (Formerly Twitter) account!

Also worth noting is that this is the last of the BL series announced at the GMMTV 2024 Part 1 press conference to enter production, with others such as ‘Kidnap’ recently concluding filming while ‘Only Boo!’, ‘We Are’ and more already released all their episodes.
