Yai is engrossed in a book while Jom rests on the bed after he collapses. When Jom wakes up, he finds Yai beside him and calls out to him. Prik enters the room with water and a towel, offering to assist Jom but Yai reassures Prik that he doesn’t need any help, and Prik leaves. Yai then brings the water to Jom and helps him get up. As he wipes Jom’s body, Yai blames himself for Jom getting sick. Yai playfully notes how Jom seems slightly uncomfortable, but Jom explains that it’s just a bit unusual for him. Yai reassures him, emphasizing that he is his lover, and promises to take him to the cinema once he feels better. Jom responds by saying he’s not easily swayed by such gestures, to which Yai asks him how he can convince someone like him and leans in for a kiss. Just as Yai leans in for a kiss, Prik unexpectedly enters the room and clears her throat to announce her presence. Caught off guard, Jom quickly hides his face under the blanket, while Yai reiterates that he can look after Jom. Prik clarifies her reason for being there, informing them that Jom’s father urgently wants to see him. This news prompts concerned glances between Jom and Yai. In his father’s study, Jom’s father questions him about his decision to leave the main house and move to the guest house. Yai honestly explains his reasons, but his father’s anger only intensifies. Sensing the tension, Yai asks if there’s something on his father’s mind. His father reveals that he had someone keep an eye on Yai and asks about his relationship with his majordomo. Summoning his courage, Yai confesses that he and Jom are in a romantic relationship. His father scolds him, believing his actions are shameless and fearing that he could jeopardize his reputation as the newly appointed lord. Yai reassures his father that there’s no reason to worry but his father continues to express concerns about the family’s struggles and accuses Yai of making decisions without considering the impact on others. In a bold response, Yai tells him of his desires, highlighting the many times he felt compelled to follow the paths his father had laid out for him. He tells his father that he will now pursue his desires and leaves, just as his father has always done.

In Eeang Peung’s room, she is startled by a knock at her door while reading. She cautiously approaches the door, grabbing a vase as protection, before unlocking it. To her surprise, she finds Fong Kaew standing there, asking to have a conversation. Fong Kaew has come to apologize, admitting that she had misunderstood Eeang Peung. Seeing how her husband mistreats her, Fong Kaew has had a change of heart. Eeang Peung confesses that she is not that different from Robert because she, too, had been selfish, believing that letting Fong Kaew into their life would lessen her suffering as Robert’s wife. She apologizes to Fong Kaew, who reassures her and takes her hand, emphasizing that she’s not a bad person but someone who is also oppressed. Fong Kaew proposes that they unite as women to fight. Fong Kaew then reveals that her house was set on fire, resulting in her father’s death, and asks if Eeang Peung was aware of this. Eeang Peung, however, was unaware and believed Fong Kaew had moved to their house because her own had burned down naturally. Fong Kaew wants to find evidence to expose the truth and advises Eeang Peung, who wants to help, to remain somewhat unaware to avoid raising Robert’s suspicions. Back at the Palathip house, Yai joins Jom in bed who is still resting. Concerned about Jom’s fever, Yai suggests he rest more. Curious, Jom asks what’s on Yai’s mind after noticing his troubled expression. Yai tells him a lie, explaining that his father had just asked him to review some case files. Relieved, Jom assumed his agitated expression was related to a disagreement with his father. Yai lovingly caresses Jom’s face and asks if he’s happy living in the house with him, to which Jom responds with a heartfelt “Of course.” Yai expresses his love for Jom and the desire to be with him forever. Jom asks when Yai realizes his love and Yai confirms it was love at first sight for him, who felt this connection with Jom before they officially met and wonders if Jom felt the same. Jom, with Yai’s hand against his cheek, confirms it is mutual. With a tender kiss on Jom’s hand, they prepare to sleep, with Yai embracing Jom from behind.

In the morning, Yai discovers Jom is already up and in the bath. Jom reassures Yai that he’s feeling better, prompting Yai to check Jom’s temperature, putting their foreheads together. Jom didn’t have a chance to inform Yai—who had brought him breakfast—that he was awake, assuming that Yai was out working for his father when he woke up and found him not in bed. Yai, however, reveals that he’ll be staying in for the day and eagerly accepts Jom’s invitation to join him in the bath. Later, they work together in the pavilion, with Yai watching Jom at the typewriter and then holding his hands. Their intimate moment is interrupted by Busabong, who arrives with the croissants she made. Busabong inquires about Jom’s identity, and Yai reluctantly explains that he’s his majordomo. After a brief introduction, Busabong departs. Meanwhile, at the main house, Dech and Luang discuss business plans and Yai’s issues while playing chess. Busabong returns and reports that Yai is busy with work, with his majordomo handling paperwork, which visibly disturbs Luang. Busabong notices that Yai seems unaware of the engagement, but Luang assures her that Yai will be informed soon. That time comes when Yai is having his measurements taken for a new suit when his mother suddenly reveals his engagement to Busabong. He reacts with shock and anger, feeling that his mother didn’t consider his opinion and just went along with his father’s decision once again. His mother becomes emotional as Yai fears he’ll end up like his sister but proceeds to call the two girls to resume the measurements despite his concerns. At night outside the Palathip house, Yai lies on Jom’s lap, and Jom asks if he’s worried about his work. Yai admits that he fears he can no longer handle his father’s increasingly demanding tasks. Jom reassures him, believing Yai aims to follow in his father’s path. Yai, however, confesses that it’s not his true dream. He once wished to study in France, yearning to meet intellectuals and writers, engaging in debates and strikes by those who think differently. Yai’s dream has changed after meeting Jom, and he expresses a desire to live a life with Jom, regardless of his state work. Jom rubs his nose against Yai and they share a kiss.

While playing with Lek, he asks Jom to draw a picture of Yai as a gift for Yai’s engagement with Busabong. This revelation shocks Jom and Prik intervenes to remind Lek that Yai had instructed them not to inform him. Prik confirms the engagement to Jom and Jom rushes to find Yai, but Prik stops him and provides comfort as Jom breaks into tears, questioning why such a situation is happening to him once more. A while later, Yai’s father approaches Jom, asking him to gradually end his relationship with Yai. He knows that he may appear heartless but simply wishes for his son to lead a normal life, recognizing that Jom could be Yai’s weakness in the future. After Luang leaves, tears stream down Jom’s face. Later that night, Jom shares a drink with Ming, who wants to confirm Jom’s relationship with Yai. Ming reveals that he saw it and shares that Maey and Eeang Peung are facing a similar heartbreak. He acknowledges that he, too, is heartbroken but knows it’s not to the same extent as them. As they drink, Fong Kaew arrives, seeking their help. After some time, Ming goes into the dungeon and gives whiskey to Pan, who is guarding the cells. They both end up getting drunk while Fong Kaew arrives to wake up Ming to ask for the key. They free Maey, and Fong Kaew informs her that she will be staying at her home. Maey pleads with Fong Kaew to help Eeang Peung, and Fong Kaew assures her that she needs to leave first, remembering her promise to Eeang Peung help them two. Ming aids Maey in escaping, explaining that he can’t force her to love him but can help her. Maey hugs Ming and expresses her gratitude before leaving. Ming and Pan face a scolding and punishment, but Ming takes the blame, admitting that he encouraged Pan to drink with him. Robert is furious and orders Ming and his mother to leave his house. Fong Kaew tries to intervene, advising for mercy as they’ve served the family for a long time, but Robert remains firm. James arrives and questions the severity of the punishment. He advises Robert that being excessively harsh will reflect poorly on him. James is there to ask why Robert missed the meeting yesterday and emphasizes the importance of prioritizing obligations. He informs Robert about the reception party for the new forestry manager at the Gymkhana, suggesting that he should attend.

While Jom is preparing Yai’s bed, he recalls the moment when Yai confesses his love to him there. Yai arrives, and Jom tries to excuse himself, but Yai stops him. Jom informs him that he has to rest since his engagement ceremony with Busabong is tomorrow. Yai tells him that he doesn’t love her and loves Jom. Jom knows this but believes that the best thing he can do now is congratulate Yai. Yai becomes emotional and gently touches Jom’s face, begging him not to say those words. However, Jom feels it’s time they face the truth and encourages Yai to get engaged, assuring him that he can wait. Yai begins to cry and kisses Jom, stating that he can’t be with someone he doesn’t love. Jom asks to keep their story as a good memory for them and kisses his forehead. Yai holds Jom tightly, crying even more as Jom leaves. Meanwhile, at the main house, Chan updates Luang on the progress of their plan. Chan asks him if he’s sure but Luang doesn’t answer him and advises he should get some rest instead. The next morning, the engagement ceremony takes place, with the Palathip family presenting their dowry to Busabong’s family. The two exchange rings, with Yai appearing downcast and Eeang Peung showing concern. During the dinner, the unexpected happens, as the violin music stops Jom steps forward to introduce himself and offer a gift to his beloved master on this significant day.

This episode is heartbreaking, with Yai facing a situation similar to his sister’s, and it seems there’s little they can do to change it. While we’re all hoping for their love to succeed, the question remains if Jom has genuinely given up on his love for Yai to pave the way for Yai and Busabong, especially after Yai’s father warned him that he would become his weakness. Another question arises: what gift will Jom offer to his beloved master, and will it improve or worsen their relationship?
