FINALLY! Our Skyy 2’s Bad Buddy has finally started filming!
Bad Buddy, or แค่เพื่อนครับเพื่อน, as it is known in its country of origin, Thailand, was a BL series that aired from late 2021 to early 2022. Starring Nanon Korapat Kirdpan as Pran Parakul Siridechawat and Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee as Pat Napat Jindapat, this series told the story of two boys born into families that hated each other. In spite of this, they found themselves drawn to each other and went from two people who weren’t even allowed to be friends to two people who couldn’t just be friends. Also in this series is the fan-favorite sapphic couple consisting of Ink, played by Milk Pansa Vosbein, and Pa, played by Love Pattranite Limpatiyakorn.
Fans of the series, as well as the OhmNanon pairing, were treated to a nice surprise when it was announced that Bad Buddy would be one of the eight series that will be part of the anthology series OurSkyy 2, which will consist of extra episodes for each series. Alongside Bad Buddy in the OurSkyy 2 lineup are Never Let Me Go, A Boss and A Babe, and Vice Vera, among others. Bad Buddy was the last series out of the eight to have no updates from the cast and crew regarding OurSkyy filming until the official OurSkyy Twitter account posted a series of photos from the set.

The photos show Ohm and Nanon in character as Pat and Pran, both of them wearing their college uniforms, implying that the series will take place during their college days. Given the time skip to post-university life at the end of Bad Buddy, the OurSkyy plot will likely take place before the end of the series and give fans of the series a glimpse into Pat and Pran hiding their relationship from others after pretending to break up after the events of the series’ eleventh episode. As of the moment, no information regarding the return of other characters such as Ink and Pa is available, so make sure to stay posted to the official OurSkyy account for updates!
