Fluke Gawin Couples Up with Krist Perawat in ‘Be My Favorite’

GMMTV announced Fluke Gawin will take over Mike Chinnarat’s lead role in ‘Be My Favorite’, pairing up with Krist Perawat.

‘Be My Favorite’ is one of GMMTV 2022 line up that hasn’t been released yet that will be supposedly starring Krist Perawat and Mike Chinnarat. It is based on the same author of 2gether, Theory Of Love, and Fish Upon A Sky which was also adapted into TV series by GMMTV, Jittirain’s novel with the same name ‘บทกวีของปีแสง’. Follows the story of a single man who wished he could travel to the past but whenever he changes it, unacceptable consequences happen in the present year.

Unexpectedly, GMMTV released a notice of change of cast for ‘Be My Favorite’ and announced Fluke Gawin, who starred in ‘Dark Blue Kiss’ and ‘Not Me’, will be taking over Mike Chinnarat’s lead role as Pisaeng.

Since GMMTV revealed the cast of ‘Be My Favorite’ back in December 2021, the company and production team have been preparing the pre-production process of the series — including workshops and in-depth discussions with the actors regarding their respective character roles.

As a result, the company, production team, and actors have collectively agreed and decided to change the intended role of “Mike, Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit” to “Fluke, Gawin Caskey.” Mike and Krist were both involved in the decision and agreed to it in the best interests of the series as a whole.

Mike will nevertheless continue to demonstrate his talent in other projects. Follow the most recent updates regarding Mike, his work, and the ‘Be My Favorite’ series on all of GMMTV’s social media channels.

Here’s an overview of ‘Be My Favorite’:

In 2029, Kawi, a single lonely guy, was about to attend the wedding of Praemai, the girl that he had a crush on since college, and her groom, Piisaeng, a flirty guy who was like a love rival that he lost Praemai to. Kawi regretted that he was too scared to confess to his crush. That‘s why he had to accept the consequence and watched them marry like this. He wished he could travel back to the past to fix it. His wish was granted. He traveled back to 2019 but only for one day. Every time he traveled back and change his path, the consequences in 2029 were even more unacceptable for him. He got a chance to travel back several times to choose a new path again and again. But then he started to learn that no matter how many times he traveled back to the past, he couldn’t run away from Piisaeng who was supposed to be his love rival. Kawi started to question himself what if fate didn‘t bring him to be with Praemai but to know someone else more?

‘Be My Favorite’ has already started rolling the camera and is slated to be released this year, 2023.
