Episode 10

Foam wakes up and finds himself at the hospital, with Audi sleeping on the side. He immediately realizes that he is back to his real timeline and understands that his situation there is much more complicated as he is still a suspect in the murder of Boo. He changes his clothes and steals Audi’s phone before he sneaks outside of the hospital, where the police officers assigned to guard his room go to the bathroom. When Audi wakes up, he discovers that Foam is nowhere to be found, and neither is his phone. The police officers informed the other stations to be on the lookout for Foam and instructed them to arrest him. Meanwhile, Nokkaew brings Kongtub to the location of his new project and is about to accompany him to meet the director when she receives a call from one of her assistants informing her that Foam is finally awake. Nokkaew tries to contact Pareenawee, but her phone calls go unanswered.

On the other hand, Foam returns to his apartment and asks Sosie to help him set up a press conference where he plans to tell everyone the truth. After that, he goes to the park where he first meets Chris, hopelessly waiting for the latter to show up. Instead, he finds a tin can slightly buried near the bench and opens it. There, he finds notes that he recognizes as Chris’ handwriting and begins to read them. In his notes, Chris tells Foam random things about his life, such as cutting off his communication with Boss, staying with Sugar in the meantime to be safe, and Park and Bew finally admitting that they are together and missing Foam every day. Foam realizes that the notes are written dates after Chris’ supposed death and also sees the USB containing information about Boss in the can, although he wonders just where his friends are in this timeline. Back to Kongtub, he is surprised to see Little at the location of the new project and gets informed that they will be working together to endorse a beauty product. The director asks them to get close to each other to ensure that they will look natural together throughout the project. Kongtub decides to address the elephant in the room and asks Little if they can talk privately. He then asks if Little is still mad at him for what happened years ago and admits that he is afraid to ask for forgiveness as he knows that he is at fault. Little asks Kongtub what the reason is for him to suddenly leave him hanging in the air during their audition, as he knows him to be someone who has reasons for the things that he does. In the end, Kongtub confesses that the only reason is his selfishness, resulting in him completely disregarding Little’s feelings back then. Although Little feels bitter that it was Kongtub’s selfishness that tore their friendship, he asks the latter what he plans to gain his forgiveness for. He also shares that while the actions hurt him, they also made him grow and become much stronger. He also advises Kongtub to stop dwelling on their past; it will not lead him to anything good. Kongtub finally puts his apologies into words, and the two reconcile. They also visit the ice cream store they used to frequent, just like in the old days, and reminisce. They then make a promise to be more honest and stay by each other’s sides. Pareenawee, whom Nokkaew is unable to reach, is actually at Korn’s residence after the two sleep together. Meanwhile, Thien, who is being flirted with by another actor on his new project, declines the advances as he is set on getting serious with Korn. After he finishes the shoot, he goes to Korn’s residence with flowers in his hands, as he intends to confess his feelings. However, he is surprised that Korn doesn’t want to let him in and orders him to wait for him in the lobby. Thien forces himself inside Korn’s bedroom and finds it void of people, relieving him of his worries that Korn is sleeping around. However, just as he is about to get out, Pareenawee comes out of the bathroom, and the mother and son look at each other in shock. Thien immediately becomes rage and pushes away Korn, who is trying to pacify him while looking at his mother in disgust. Pareenawee can only say sorry to her son and is unable to answer when Thien confronts her about the nature of her relationship with Korn, who confesses that they have been sleeping with each other for a long time already. To Thien’s further disappointment, Nokkaew arrives, as she has assumed that Pareenawee is with Korn and realizes that Thien has found out about the relationship. Thien feels betrayed after figuring out that Nokkaew is also aware, and he can’t help but think that everyone around him seems to think little of him. Before walking out of the room, Thien threatens them that he will make sure that each one of them pays for what they have done to him.

In the press conference that Sosie set up for Foam, they were surprised that only a small number of media outlets arrived to cover it, although they believe that Foam’s issue is still sensational. The police also arrive to arrest him, but they manage to negotiate for him to finish the conference first and promise to surrender. Foam begins the press conference, recalling what happened during his birthday party, but before he can continue, Thien goes live on his Instagram and drops the bomb that the reason why the media is silent about Foam is due to Nenie’s involvement in the case. He also says that Nenie’s influential father is behind other shady businesses that involve his mother, which is why the media and police seem to be on set in setting up Foam in Boo’s murder. Foam then continues Thien’s narrative and gives the USB to the police officers. He also tells the media about the private social media channel where he uploaded other evidence of Nenie’s presence during his birthday party. Later that day, Nenie’s trusted guard admits on national television that they did cover up the murder and pin it on Foam. The news outlets also managed to unearth connections between Nenie’s father, who is hiding abroad, and Pareenawee’s investments and business with him. Pareenawee was also arrested by the police and did not receive any help from her husband or Nenie’s father, who told her that they were on their own now. Sometime later, Foam finally clears his name, and his friends ask him to take a vacation in the meantime, but he declines and requests that they bring him to the park instead. As he sits on the bench, he recalls the last time he went there, where he found the tin can, and a kid approached him to give him a stuffed toy that he recognized to be the same one he gave Chris before. Foam breaks down as he starts missing Chris and their friends again. To his utter surprise, he hears familiar voices teasing him about why he is being a crybaby. He finds Chris alongside Park and Bew behind him with amused smiles on their faces. He immediately hugs the three, who then tells him that they have been watching and helping him from all sides, as it is all part of their plans, although Bew boasts to be the one behind everything related to computers. Foam tearfully hugs them again and expresses how he missed them the whole time. They also start catching up on all the times they have been apart, with Chris confessing that he has always felt that they would meet each other again despite all odds. Chris also shares that he has been monitoring and gathering help from the side, as Foam’s case with Nenie is going to take a lot of their time. While Chris has managed to sever ties with Boss, he still has not found his identity despite his efforts and decides to let fate decide on punishing people who have done wrong things. Chris and Foam mutually decide to live together again and promise to always support and face obstacles with each other by their sides.

On the other hand, to completely separate himself from people who betrayed him, Thien joins Asgard to become a host himself, although Korn ultimately finds him. Korn asks Thien to leave Asgard, but the latter determinedly refuses, as he wants to start over. Meanwhile, after sleeping with Bew, Park receives a call and answers it immediately, addressing the person on the other end of the line as Boss.

Writer’s Thoughts:

Now that MFlow’s most recent BL show has come to an end, it’s safe to say that it was an exciting ride! We couldn’t help but feel that, despite everyone finding their happy endings, the show’s overall conclusion left us with more unanswered questions than before, particularly in light of the revelation that Park—whom everyone had assumed to be the innocent party and least likely to be involved—was the one who had been collaborating with Boss the entire time. We find ourselves wondering if the show will have a special or a sequel shortly so we can see how this revelation will completely turn the tables on everyone. Even though there’s still a lot of space for development, ‘Time the Series’ is a must-watch if you’re searching for a show with time travel, attractive guys, and sultry moments!
