Episode 3.
Tong and Gus went home together. Gus keeps talking to the latter and asks him how he feels working with their seniors, but Tong doesn’t answer him. He said he was fine with listening to him. Gus told him that talking is his only way to express to other people how he feels. They continued walking home, and Tong couldn’t help but look at Gus. Jade helped Mai walk to his bed. The latter is so drunk that he keeps saying random things. He mistook him for his mom and said that he couldn’t take care of his crush. When Jade tried to leave, Mai pulled him closer and said that he liked his crush so much. He fell asleep, so Jade didn’t know who his crush was. He tried to remove his pants again, but Jade immediately stopped him.
Jade had a daydream again. In his dreams, he’s curious about Mai’s crush. All of his coworkers and even the interns knew who Mai’s crush was. They even gave him some hints, but still, he didn’t get it. So they told him to look closely so he could find out. The next day, Mai woke up and saw Jade sleeping on the couch. He walked closer to him, and when he tried to wake him up, Jade was shocked and bumped his head. He becomes conscious that he saw him drooling and barefaced. Mai sat closer to him and apologized for what happened the other night, and Jade said that he brought him to his home because he didn’t know where he lived. To compromise, Mai voluntarily made breakfast for them.
Jade told him to take a shower first before cooking. He gave him his spare toothbrush, and when Mai’s hand touched his, he felt nervous. When he tried to walk out of the bathroom, he bumped into his naked body, and he felt nervous again. Mai, on the other hand, felt happy about what was happening to them. The former looked for clothes he could lend him, and the latter came out of the shower. Jade was shocked to see him topless and wearing only his favorite towel. And it turns out that the towel with a ‘Detective Conan’ print is Jade’s new towel that he never used. Mai is also shocked and changes into clothes immediately.
Mai throws away everything in Jade’s fridge. even the edible heart-shaped cake that Jade has been keeping for a long time. Jade feels disappointed, but he promises to buy him a new one. They ate breakfast together after Mai cooked. It’s the best porridge Jade has ever tasted. The latter told him that he would make porridge for him again, and suddenly, Mai remembered something from his childhood. As a middle child, he’s assigned to set up the table whenever he comes home. Jade sends him off, and before he leaves, Mai tells him his apartment number. He was stunned when he heard that. At home, Mai calls his mom, as the latter gets worried when he doesn’t answer the other night and tells him that Jade took care of him, and his mom feels relieved.
