Brands Discontinue Build Jakapan As Their Presenter

Due to the sensitive dispute surrounding Thai actor Build Jakapan, two brands announced the discontinuation/termination of their contract.

The situation unfolded when Poi Patchayamon exposed Build Jakapan’s series of abuses towards her. She posted a tweet thread attaching evidence accumulated during their two years of dating which took over Twitter trends and garnered different opinions from the netizens regarding the issue: physical abuse, extortion, and cheating, among others.

Resulting to this, Be On Cloud, Build Jakapan’s agency, immediately announced Build hiatus without a definite period and notified a live conference on January 28th. In addition to this, Build deactivated his social media accounts, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

As respective brands, eyebraaaaa and PASTEL hired Build Jakapan as their presenter. However, due to disputes surrounding him, the brands decided to discontinue their respective contracts with him.

Yesterday, PASTEL released an announcement of discontinuation with Build as their brand presenter until the dispute will be settled. It says:

“Re: Discontinuation of Mr. Jakapan Puttha (Build) as our PASTEL brand presenter

Regarding the disputes and news of Mr. Jakapan Puttna (Build) since 21 January 2023, we, Multiply by Eight Co., Ltd. would like to inform you that we have decided to discontinue Khun Jakapan Puttha (Build) from PASTEL brand presenter according to our policy as from the issuing date of this announcement until the disputes have been settled and have a clear conclusion,

However, Mr. Wichapas Sumettikul (Bible) will still be cur presenter and will continually join activities with PASTEL brand.

We appreciate your trust and support our PASTEL brand.”

And earlier today, eyebraaaaa, also announced discontinuation with Build as their brand presenter.

“Eyebraaaaa had communicated with the company about the issues that occurred recently and we end up announcing that Mr.Jakapan Puttha has discontinued his role as the presenter of eyebraaaaa brand according to terms of the Company’s agreements from today onwards.

We’d like to thank you all for every kind and support of our brand.”
