Hidden Agenda, JoongDunk’s latest BL series, is set to air very soon!
With the special episode giving fans a preview of what to expect from the series, here are three things viewers can look forward to once it airs on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Who knows, you might just find yourself falling for this series once it airs thanks to these.
- A Prominent Side Couple
While the series will be focusing on the main couple consisting of Joong Archen as Joke and Dunk Natachai as Zo, director Tee Bundit has confirmed that the side couple consisting of Jen, played by Aou Thanaboon, and Pok, played by Boom Tharatorn, will be more than just background characters in this series, as their story will be connected to that of Joke and Zo. This is in contrast to the novel วาระซ่อนเร้น (Wara Son Ren), which the series is based on, as these characters were not particularly prominent in the original story.
- Debates as a Plot Device
From the series’ trailer, it could be seen that part of the plot of the series is formal debate competitions. Director Tee Bundit explained that, while this was not in the source material, he decided to include it as a way to incorporate discussions on various social issues into the series instead of inserting it into regular conversations between characters. It was also his hope that viewers will form their own thoughts on the issues being debated while watching the series.
