Heads up! This Taiwanese movie, set to hit screens in May, promises a captivating BL storyline.

“The Time of Huannan (環南時候)” is an upcoming Taiwanese film following its exclusive screening at the 2023 Kaohsiung Film Festival. Directed by Leading Lee, the movie weaves together themes of family, youthful romance, LGBTQIA representation, and time travel. The stellar cast features Hsia Teng Huang from ‘We Best Love: No. 1 For You’, Wang Yu Ping, Edison Song from ‘HIStory: Stay Away From Me’, and Chu Meng Hsuan from ‘HIStory 2: Right or Wrong’.

The ensemble also includes Tsan Cheng Chu, Cheng Chih Wei, Wang Ting Yun, Yu Jin from ‘My Tooth Your Love’, Cheng Ping Chun, Grace Lu, and Liu Liang Tso, ensuring a promising and diverse cinematic experience.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Taipei City in 2022 is a dynamic, exciting, and vibrant city! “Huan Nan” is a traditional market situated on the triangle formed by the Tamsui River and Xindian River. It has served as the major food and beverage market for the entire capital city for over 55 years. In every place, there are hidden, underground stories. Our tale is set in 1991–“The Four Brothers of Huan Nan.” There is always heartbreak and anguish that come with innocent and naive young love. Just as with the unique market, secret ingredients are thrown into this gang’s story. At that time, everyone knew that the gang consisted of three boys and one girl, but no one knew that the youngest gang member, an 18-year-old, was from 2022.
