Following the announcement to feature ‘AntiReset’, LGBTQ+BL media hub GagaOOLala released a 45-second-long trailer, while the production also unveiled a new preview along with a sneak peek of its opening theme song.
The newly released trailer above highlights Ever 9, the newest edition of the Heng-Ji robot series made by his uncle, he introduces himself to his first owner, Chu Yi Ping, who wonders if there’s a QR code to scan or a contract warranty. Ever 9 told him he had seen in a Japanese comic how robots activated by kissing their owner on his lips. What will happen to the robot, who is programmed to stimulate a relationship and falls in love with his owner but later faces malfunctions? Will his owner be against its being scrapped and become “anti-reset” towards his newly found robot?
Meanwhile, the production’s YouTube channel released a new trailer that is quite similar to GagaOOLala’s official trailer but more detailed, as Ever 9 is in charge of Yi Ping’s daily life in nursing care, to cheer him up in his work, and accompanying him whenever they go out. He also added that he is 100% anthropomorphic, which means he’s no different from humans and can do whatever they can. Lastly, at the end of the clip, Ever 9 reminds his owner that he has an additional feature: the ability to make out with him. In addition, VBL also unveiled its opening credit intro accompanied by its official theme song composed, written, and sung by Wu Ping Chen (Roy). Check out the opening intro here:
