‘Stay By My Side’ Premieres on July 7

VIdol just revealed the ‘Stay By My Side’ official poster and release date!

The first installment under VIdol’s boys love lineup will premiere next month! ‘Stay By My Side’ is formerly known as ‘Stand By My Side’ which consists of 10 episodes with 20 minutes run-time per episode. It stars Hong Waji and Isaac Yang as Gu Buxia and Jiang Chi, respectively. The drama depicts the story of a young man who is afraid of ghosts but one day, he accidentally hears mysterious voices. Because of his fear of ghosts, he holds on to his roommate, who, for some reason, can block the voices he hears. And then, the two gradually become closer.

Bu Xia is brought up by his grandfather, who is a spiritual medium. After his grandfather’s funeral, he finds himself hearing voices murmur in his ears now and then. He thinks he’s suffering from hallucinations and is ready to seek medical treatment but is surprised to find that the voices in his ears, like a Dolby stereo, are the voices of ghosts! He is as dumbfounded as if he has just received a vaccination. Jiang Chi is Bu’s roommate and excels in both sports and academics. When Bu finds out that the more he gets in touch with Jiang-chi, the more he doesn’t hear any ghostly voice, he starts to find ways to approach Jiang. Is it because of Jiang’s charm? The more Jiang knows, the more confused he becomes.

‘Stay By My Side’ is set to premiere on July 7th on the local streaming platform VIdol. No further information has been released regarding its international platform as of this writing. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
