Taiwanese BL series Variety Between Love (VBL) is back with its first 2024-2025 drama lineup, ‘Eternal Butler’, set to premiere this December!

This 12-episode drama continues the storyline from their recent sci-fi BL hit, ‘AntiReset’. ‘Eternal Butler’ stars Kevin Chang, who represented Taiwan in Mister Global 2019, as Ever 4, alongside Eden Chen from the boy group FEniX as young master Luo Bu Shi. The series also introduces a secondary couple, Jia Qian and Zhen Qun, played by Lawrence Lo (About Youth), and rising star Sing Hom, portraying a heartwarming friends-to-lovers storyline.

‘Eternal Butler’ marks the first installment in VBL Originals’ 2024-2025 drama lineup, following popular titles like “Stay By My Side,” “You Are Mine,” “VIP Only,” and “AntiReset“. Premiering on December 20, the series will kick off a season of fresh BL stories, with ‘Fight For You’ and another upcoming, yet-to-be-announced title set to follow, promising fans an exciting new wave of romance and drama.

The synopsis reads: “After the departure of Ever 9 (AntiReset), who fell in love with a human, the leader of the Ever series, Ever 4, is sent to the Luo family as a deacon and bodyguard to fight for his rights as an AI. Facing the rebellious young master of the family, how can Ever 4, who is used to being in control, keep his young master in line?”
