‘Where Your Eyes Linger: The Movie’ To Be Screened at the 80th Venice International Film Festival This Month

South Korea’s first BL drama, ‘Where Your Eyes Linger: The Movie, is reportedly having its screening at the 80th Venice International Film Festival!

The first Korean BL series, ‘Where Your Eyes Linger’, will be screening its movie version at the prestigious Venice Film Festival, becoming the first Korean BL movie to be screened in the said film festival.

‘Where Your Eyes Linger Linger’ is the first BL web drama produced in South Korea by W-Story and ENGD Company, cementing the Korean BL genre industry. The drama depicts the young romance between Gang Gook (Jang Eui Soo), who lives together as a bodyguard for Han Tae Joo (Han Gi Chan), the sole heir of the TB Group – a family-run business conglomerate.

Director Hwang Da Seul of ‘Where Your Eyes Linger’ re-edited the drama into a movie three years after its initial release back in 2020. Hwang also directed well-made and well-received Korean BLs such as ‘To My Star Seasons 1 & 2’ and the original ‘Blueming’.
