‘Unintentional Love Story’ main lead and B1A4 member GongChan sits down for another interview regarding the drama and its impending last episode this coming Friday.
GongChan revealed that when he heard that he will be playing alongside co-star Cha Seowon, his first reaction was, “I said ‘daebak’, ‘That’s impossible’. (Cha Seowon) resembled the image of Yoon Taejun so much and I thought it would be fun to play alongside him. He took care of me really well during the time that we were filming so we were able to work together comfortably.”
But in order to have a more natural chemistry, GongChan and Yoon Taejun met a couple of times before filming just so they can become closer, and their romantic chemistry definitely showed onscreen. When it came to ‘skinship’ and kissing scenes, GongChan says, “No matter who the other person is, (skinship) is always hard. What (we) thought of is how (we) can we beautifully express the feelings of one another. (For the kissing scene) it was definitely heart-fluttering. No matter who (I ) do (the kissing scene) with, it’s still something that’s heart-fluttering. I kept thinking about Wonyoung’s feelings and how I can express them, and it was fun to play (him).”
During the emotional scene between him and Cha Seowon, GongChan says, “When I was playing Wonyoung, I felt like I truly became him and I cried hard at Taejoon. Even when they said ‘cut!’, I could still feel Wonyoung’s emotions.”
