Episode 2. Someone I Miss.

The episode opens with a flashback to their childhood, where Choi Jun saw Lee Jun waiting for him at the playground. He saw his sad face, and he asked him if it was because he was late, and the latter said no, it was because his parents had a fight. After hearing that, Choi Jun promised him that he would stay with him longer that day so he would not be sad, and the young boys hugged each other. Lee Jun is reminiscing about his past with him and says that he’s glad that they share the same name and that they call each other Jun. He likes the time he spends with him; that’s why it became a habit, and whenever he thinks of him, he misses him. Loneliness was something new to him, and he couldn’t forget him.

At the office, Choi Jun welcomed the new employees and gave words of encouragement. After welcoming the new employees, he started their meeting about their new product. He explained to them that their CEO has great expectations for them and that they must meet those expectations. As their team leader assigned them a big project, the new employees, including Lee Jun, felt nervous about it. But Choi Jun assures them that their team leaders will be involved in the project’s progress. However, if their contributions are absent during the probation period, after the three-month period, the employee ID they received will be useless. After their meeting, Lee Jun went back to his table and still felt that he didn’t belong there. He received a message from Choi Jun asking him to meet him after work, and he suddenly remembered their encounter earlier that day. He says that he’s available, and he finds him cute after he replies with a cute emoticon.

He received another message, and it was from Hyun Jae, his friend, and their team leader. He asked him how his training was that day, and maybe it was hard for him as a first-timer. He thanked him for his help and told him that everything went smoothly. Their co-worker told them that they would have lunch at the office as a welcome party for the new employees. She asked who could volunteer to buy coffee. Lee Jun volunteers and Hyun Jae told him that he would go with him. They went to the cafe, and Lee Jun was amazed at how he memorized all of their names. And the latter told him that everyone almost ordered the same thing every day, so he memorized it. Hyun Jae noticed his clumsiness as a newcomer, and he teases him that maybe he just needs to rely on others. But Lee Jun assures him that he’s been doing pretty well, even in his social life.

While waiting for their coffee, the two continued their conversation. Lee Jun asks him to help him more in the future, but Hyun Jae jokes with him that his help is not for free. He told him to treat him to a delicious meal when he received his first paycheck, and the latter promised to do so. Hyun Jae laughs at what the barista at the cafe accidentally says. The latter asks him why he laughs, and he’s curious about it, but he just told him it’s funny having coffee with him. They went back into the office, and their officemates were getting ready for the welcoming party. While having coffee, one of their seniors told the newcomers that they should do their work so they would be permanent employees, and another senior assured them that they would guide them along the way so they didn’t have to worry. One of the newcomers asks if it is true what Choi Jun says about being fired if they don’t contribute enough to the project.

Choi Jun suddenly enters the room, hears what the newcomer says, and tells them that the most important thing in marketing is sincerity and trust. And keeping his words is his way of taking care of them. Confused, Lee Jun asked him if they could be regular employees if they succeeded in the project, and the latter said yes. Choi Jun told everyone that training for the newcomers starts that afternoon, and Hyun Jae asks him if their training will start that afternoon, when the planning of their project starts, and the latter says that it will also start that day. All the employees felt sad after hearing it. After work, Choi Jun asked all the employees to have a company dinner. Everyone agrees, but Lee Jun suddenly remembered that he had made an appointment with him earlier.

Choi Jun left after saying that he would meet them at the restaurant. Though everyone agreed, the employees were too exhausted to have a company dinner on the first day of work. Lee Jun went to the pantry to rant at himself. He’s quite disappointed with Choi Jun because of his sudden change of plans. He asked himself how he recognized him. Little did he know that the latter heard everything that he said. Choi Jun suddenly sneaked into the pantry, and the latter accidentally spilled the coffee on his clothes. Choi Jun got worried and told him to take off his shirt. He started to take off his shirt too, and Lee Jun got shocked at what he was doing, but the latter says that he has many shirts that he can lend him. Lee Jun told him that he was worrying too much and that he’s not the fragile Lee Jun like before. Choi Jun continuously persuades him to take off his shirt, but he is too shy to do so.

Choi Jun says that they haven’t met in a long time. That’s why he didn’t realize that he always needed help. And when he thinks about it, even if they didn’t meet, he always thought that way. Lee Joon apologizes to him but he says he doesn’t have to apologize because he likes it like that. That he always needs his help. Lee Jun told him that he has a weird taste and the latter pulls his necktie so he can get closer to him and says that it’s good that he can help him so he’ll be used to him. His scent will stick to him because it really feels like he owns him. Choi Jun started to unbutton his shirt and he interrupted him, saying that he will repay him for everything he has done to him and the latter says he wants it in American Style. He told him that only his body grew and he’s still squishy inside. Lee Jun puts something on his hand and told him that’s squishy and puts his finger on his face and told him that’s the soft one. But Choi Jun pulled him closer and told him that squishy is soft and moist and for him, soft means erotic.

It seems that Choi Jun didn’t really forget his childhood friend and Lee Jun missed the childhood friend who became his comfort zone. Let’s find out in the next episode if their reunion will be the start of a romantic love story.
