Megabox’s PLUSM unveiled actors to star in the upcoming ‘Love in the Big City’ film adaptation, now in production.
‘Love in the Big City’ is the English-language debut of Sang Young Park, one of Korea’s most exciting young writers, and depicts the story of a young gay man searching for happiness in the lonely city of Seoul. It was reportedly adapted last year. On July 20th, Megabox’s PLUSM released some photos from its script read-through and introduced the two actors, Noh Sang Hyun from ‘Pachinko’ and Kim Go Eun from ‘Yumi’s Cells’. The film is under the direction of Lee Eon Hee, and filming began on July 8th.
Kim Go Eun will play the role of Jae Hae, a bold yet charming and straightforward person in life and relationships. Meanwhile, Noh Sang Hyun plays the role of Heung Soo, who is not interested in school or women and lives with Jae Hee, who discovers the secret that he kept for so long.
