Often, we are asked what superpower we would choose to have if given the chance. Would you like to be able to fly, make someone fall in love with you, or be able to control the elements a la avatar? Perhaps, be invisible and be able to spy on people? You naughty freak!
Well, in this short BL film produced by Strongberry and directed by Jun Bum (Open, 2015), our hero, Jin Gyu (played by Jin Gyu, yes, they have the same name), acquires a magical pair of glasses that, well, lets him see everybody stark naked, including his classmate and crush, Sun Tae (played by Choi Woo Jae).

‘Sometimes, magical things happen in this world. And a magical thing happened to me.”
The film starts with the shy Jin Gyu and the charismatic Sun Tae conversing in a quaint coffee shop one night. Based on their conversation, we can assume that the two of them are paired up for a project which Sun Tae complains about.
Sun Tae claims that their professor only favors pretty girls and gives them good grades. Despite another group giving a better presentation, Sun Tae says their professor gave an A+ only to a girl named Yoon Jin who was the prettiest and cutest in their department. That last part is what Jin Gyu chooses to focus on and he asks Sun Tae whether he thinks Yoon Jin is the prettiest (Sun Tae says yes, everybody thinks so) or whether Sun Tae has tried to make a move on her. Sun Tae coyly replies maybe he has. Anyway, Sun Tae says they can’t do anything about it but exert more effort and try to do their best. Sun Tae then segues if Jin Gyu is free on Saturday while brushing off non-existent dirt on Jin Gyu’s cheek. Oh, he’s suave. Jin Gyu supposes he is and adds nobody will be home that day. He even proposes they can finish early and they can have chicken and beer after. We see what you did there, Jin Gyu!
Later on, we see Jin Gyu on the bed, expressing to a friend that his heart was fluttering like crazy because of Sun Tae but that he was upset that Sun Tae seemed to like Yoon Jin. Although he adds that Sun Tae looked extra handsome tonight because he wore glasses and wonders whether he should get glasses as well. He’s clearly whipped.
After hanging up, Jin Gyu immediately looks for glasses online. He stumbles upon one that is listed as clairvoyance glasses. He is initially skeptical but we don’t see whether he buys it or not.
Saturday comes and they work on their presentation for a few hours. Sun Tae complains it is a lot of work for just two people and asks for a break. Jin Gyu stretches and stands up to reach for (ha!) the clairvoyance glasses that he apparently purchased. He tries it on, looks back at Sun Tae, and sees him naked, except his family jewels are covered with a throw pillow. Music bursts into Jin Gyu’s mind (hilarious!) and he is stupefied. Sun Tae then looks up at him and asks what’s the matter. Jin Gyu brushes it off and says he just remembered something. Sun Tae smiles.
The two continue with their work but Jin Gyu is hilariously distracted. Sun Tae’s dangly bits are still covered by the pillow and we can feel his desperation radiating through the screen as he attempts to pry it out of Sun Tae by asking for the cushion. Sun Tae hands him the cushion and Jin Gyu immediately tries to peek only to find a book covering Sun Tae’s private parts. Cackling!
