As their Landlord-Tenant and Team leader-Member relationship blooms after the hate, the Roommates of Poongduck 304 start to get to know each other.

Episode 5. Possibility.
The two agreed to establish house rules as landlord and tenant as their wonderful connection developed. From 9 to 6 o’clock, Jae Yoon will respect Ho Joon as the team leader, and from that time on, Ho Joon will respect Jae Yoon as the landlord. While Ho Joon was waiting for him in the parking lot after giving him a ride to the office, his father’s secretary sent him a text message requesting a meeting.
Ho Joon asks his father at their meeting if he may increase his pay, but the elder man responds that he will if he succeeds. When asked if he is dating anyone, he replies that he is not and that he has forgotten about girls. After Ho Joon left the room, his father eventually began to believe him. His father also talked about how he was happy before because Ho Joon is a smart kid, but disappointed now with what he became.
At their Team meeting, Ho Joon was amazed by Jae Yoon’s idea on how to deal with their marketing problems. And while listening to his officemate’s conversation, Jae Yoon discovers that Ho Joon graduated from New York University; and that he was both popular and a genius. At home, Jae Yoon couldn’t resist asking Ho Joon if he was really a genius back then, and the latter proudly say and that he was always at the top of his class. Ho Joon also praises Jae Yoon’s hard work and the latter felt happy because it’s the first time he won someone’s approval.
At the office, the two are having a good morning conversation when the other team members arrive. As the team leader, Ho Joon lifts each other’s spirits to make their tasks run successfully. Because of excitement, Ho Joon suddenly caressed Jae Yoon’s hair, which shocked him. At their meeting, the president congratulated the team for their success. Jae Yoon texted the latter to have dinner with him, but when Ho Joon came out of the office, he saw Jae Yoon getting in Seongseok’s car.
After seeing Jae Yoon drive away, Ho Joon followed him only to see that Seungseok asked Jae Yoon to deliver his product. The next day, Ho Joon treated the team to dinner. In the middle of dinner, Jae Yoon suddenly stood up after receiving a text from Seongseok saying he was at the police station. Ho Joon followed him outside the restaurant and the two had a confrontation. Jae Yoon was annoyed by the latter’s dwelling on his personal life. And as their argument got heated, Ho Joon says that if he walks away at that moment, their relationship will just remain as a team leader and a member.
After getting Seungkwan out of the police station, Jae Yoon talked to him asking him to find a new job. But Seungseok got angry and the talk turned into an argument. Ho Joon on the other hand went to a bar where he meets an old friend. He talks about Jae Yoon and the latter says that she thinks he likes him. At the office the next morning, their colleagues felt the coldness between the two men. And when Jae Yoon approaches Ho Joon, he receives cold treatment from him. Jae Yoon talks to Seongseok and finds out that the latter called him bad names and only befriends him for money. Jae Yoon ended their friendship at that moment.
Jae Yoon finds Ho Joon on the office rooftop. And before he even says sorry, Ho Joon says sorry first and tells him he was wrong for crossing the line and they should focus on their work. Jae Yoon went to a bar alone to have drinks. And as soon as he got drunk, he confessed his feelings to a piggy doll. Meanwhile, Ho Joon meets up with an influencer friend for a collaboration project. The latter observes that he has changed. Ho Joon suddenly gets a phone call from the bar owner to pick up the drunk Jae Yoon at the bar. When they got home, a drunk Jae Yoon told Ho Joon not to go anywhere and finally kissed Ho Joon.
Episode 7. How to Love You
After what transpired that night, they both feel awkward the next morning. Jae Yoon eventually remembered that he kissed Ho Joon the night before when he saw the doll. The two again got into a fight on the street because of the awkwardness. Ho Joon claims that there was nothing that happened for Jae Yoon to worry about, but the latter remembers everything. Jae Yoon ultimately admits that he likes him but doesn’t want to pursue a relationship with him because they are both guys. But Ho Joon advises that they give it a shot. Ho Joon reassures him that he doesn’t mind if Jae Yoon is male because he likes him.
At work, Ho Joon’s coworkers note that he is having a fantastic day. Ho Joon becomes envious whenever he overhears their officemate complimenting Jae Yoon on how cute he is, while Jae Yoon becomes intrigued about the president’s kid. When they first encountered each other in the conference room, Ho Joon abruptly expressed his longing for him. Jae Yoon assumed that Ho Joon would kiss him when he drew nearer, but all the man did was pat his head. After exiting the conference room, they ran across Ho Joon’s friend Jihee, who introduced them to one another. Jae Yoon accidentally runs across Jihee again in a clothing store. Jihee unintentionally revealed to the latter that Ho Joon is the president’s son.
At home, Jae Yoon couldn’t resist researching Ho Joon, and he finds out that he is really the son of their company’s president and he receives a good education. When Ho Joon got home, the latter acted like he was sleeping and Ho Joon gave him a goodnight kiss on the cheek. The next day at the office, Ho Joon feels that Jae Yoon is not feeling well. The lovers had a conversation while walking home. And suddenly Jae Yoon asks Ho Joon why he chose Poongduck Villa over the other beautiful apartments. And the latter answers that he felt that it was special at first because of the water pressure but along the way, things started to shift and the reason became him. But Jae Yoon said that it’s not the same for him and everything is so fast and they should have personal time for themselves.
Episode 8. Come to Me.
In the final episode, Jae Yoon says that they should have personal time for themselves and he gets drunk again at a bar. The next morning, Jae Yoon moves out of the house and filed a leave from work. Ho Joon overworked himself so he can forget about him. At home, Ho Joon remembers their happy moments at Poongduck Villa. The next morning, Hongcheol came to the villa and when Ho Joon realizes that it’s him who scammed him, he followed him and asks him where Jae Yoon is. Jae Yoon went to his family home in the countryside.
Ho Joon unexpectedly pops up in front of Jae Yoon’s family dinner and meets his mom. While having a drink at the seaside, Jae Yoon receives a video from Ho Joon. In the video, drunk Ho Joon confessed how adores the latter and how he misses him. He also asks him when will he go back. Jae Yoon heard someone call his name and gets shocked when he saw Ho Joon behind him. Ho Joon started to talk about how lonely Poongduck Villa was when he left the house. And finally, Ho Joon finally opened up everything about his past to Jae Yoon.
Ho Joon told the latter about his life in the US. How he and his friends started a business and then eventually failed. His friends left him alone and that was the start of his downfall. He started to hate his mom, his friends, and the world for leaving him. So he put up walls and avoided getting attached to anybody. But instead of getting better, he felt emptier. However, everything changed when he met Jae Yoon. Jae Yoon, on the other hand, says that he should inherit their business and build a family but the latter refused. Ho Joon says that if Jae Yoon leaves him, he will go back to his old self. So he asked Jae Yoon not to leave him, but instead, to love him. But Jae Yoon did not give him an answer, instead, he gave him a kiss on his forehead.
As his son’s success spread around the office, the president summoned him in and informed him that his pay would be increasing. In addition, he will receive his desired building back. Ho Joon, however, tore the documents up in front of his father before signing them, declaring to him that he would become president. While secretly recording their talk, he gave his team resignation letters and informed them of this. He informed Jae Yoon after his meeting with his father that he declined his invitation to stay with him. As proof that he created his own business, he also provided his registration letter. Now, Poongduck Villa is where the company is located.
He explained to Jae Yoon that he did it to begin a goal with him. The two were shown in bed at the end of the series, kissing passionately to begin their new life together.
At the beginning of the series, we saw a love-hate relationship between a boss and an assistant. Yet, it also addresses the issue of gay men dating and its difficulties. But the two show us that love will conquer all no matter what the world throws at us.
