On October 30, VIGLOO, the South Korean streaming platform known for its 1-2 minute vertically filmed shows, announced its newest addition, ‘Match Play’, to its lineup of BL reel dramas, following ‘Love in Apocalypse‘, ‘My Man’s Man‘, and ‘Rules #1: No Dating‘.

‘Match Play’ consists of 63 episodes and stars Oh Jin Seok as idol-turned-actor Moon Do Ha and Lee Tae Young as the striking stuntman Koo Jae Yeon. Following this announcement, the platform has confirmed the official release date: November 7!

The drama tells the story of a top-tier idol with an attitude and a good-looking stuntman who could rival any actor in looks. Discover how love blossoms between Moon Do Ha, an arrogant top idol-turned-actor, and Koo Jae Yeon, a handsome stuntman who teaches him how to perform action scenes.

Meanwhile, another shorts/reels platform Shortime has just released its latest BL short ‘Buddy Boy’, consisting of 45 episodes and starring Cha Seung Yoon and Lee Tae Gyu. This marks its third Korean BL drama on their platform following ‘Falling for My Boss‘ and ‘The Secrets of Male Students‘.
