You heard it right! ‘A Shoulder To Cry On’ is coming back with its movie version!

On July 26th, a Korean fan noticed that a representative of ‘A Shoulder To Cry On’ submitted its movie version yesterday (July 25) to the Korea Media Rating Board (KMRB) for review. But before that, the production also submitted a 198-minute and 59-second “addition clip” that was classified by KMRB on July 24th with a rating of 15 due to its topic and use of vulgar words. Teen-romance/ coming-of-age BL, ‘A Shoulder To Cry On’ is a seven-episode web drama based on a global No.1 Dongmul’s hit webtoon of the same name from Lezhin Comics — starring Shin Ye Chan and Kim Jae Han from the same KPOP group OMEGA X — and is under the direction of Song Soo Lim and Kim Jin Chul.

Lee Da-yeol (Kim Jae-han) spends his time in school as an outsider, excels as an archer and a member of the archery club, while Jo Tae-hyun (Shin Ye-chan) is one of the school’s most popular students, class president, and with a dark secret past. One day, Da-yeol gets wrapped up in rumors after meeting Tae-hyun in the nurse’s office, which puts his archery scholarship in jeopardy. Desperate to correct the misunderstanding, Da-yeol does everything he can to quell the rumors but to no avail. On the other hand, Tae-hyun is completely unremorseful and shamelessly follows and begins hanging around with Da-yeol. Without realizing it, the two became curious about each other and slowly started walking the thin line between hate and love
