That night the two headed home riding on a bus, where Taehyun fell asleep and leaned on Dayeol’s shoulder. The two finally found haven in each other. Without further ado, let’s start our recap in the three remaining episodes.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. Read at your own risk!

Episode 5. Not Passion, but Acceptance.

Dayeol accompanies Taehyun to his place, asks him to return the shirt once it’s clean, and heads home. As Taehyun enters his room, he receives a call from his foster father which he answers and says not to worry after receiving a credit bill from the hospital. His dad asks if he is coming home for his mom’s death anniversary. Taehyun responded that no one will be welcoming him, so there is no point in going there. He hung up the phone after his dad asked when he will avoid them. Meanwhile, Dayeol arrives with a surprise celebration from his proud dad after winning the competition.

The following day, Taehyun skips his class to pay a visit to his mom’s urn at the Columbarium. He accidentally bumps into his aunt and dad where Jin Hee, his engaged aunt, starts blaming him for what happened to her beloved sister. Good thing Taehyun’s dad is there to stop her. Taehyun finally speaks out to stop his aunt from blaming him because of her guilt. He continuously expressed his feelings about the accident and shed tears. It wasn’t his intention at all, even wished to disappear, and all he wanted the most was to be consoled for what happened. After hearing his son, his Dad suddenly hugged him tightly and Taehyun started crying.

Meanwhile, Dayeol did his daily routine and ignored what his teammates were whispering about him and his competition with Jung Min. Later that night, Dayeol texts Taehyun and wonders why he was absent. The two start checking on each other. Dayeol could not hide his worries and feelings toward him. A few days pass by, and Dayeol arrives in the classroom and felt relief seeing that Taehyun is there. During their break, the two went outside to check if Taehyun has a scar on his face after the incident but Dayeol saw nothing. Then, suddenly, Won Kyung enters the picture whining about them. They used to ignore each other and now they hang out together, but Dayeol ignored him and left. Taehyun explains to him that he’s hanging out with Dayeol because he’s funny, Won Kyung, however, ignored it and even refused to hang out at Taehyun’s invitation.

During class, Taehyun sits next to Dayeol and they go here and there drawing on each other’s papers. Taehyun suddenly bites Dayeol’s arm and that’s when their teacher interferes. The two get punished yet they are still bickering with each other. The next subject is about to come, and Taehyun expresses how he hated it. Taehyun explains that he hates it because he is not sitting next to him, which made Dayeol flustered.

While attending their PE class in the scorching heat, Taehyun and Dayeol are insufferably sweet with each other, while their friends So Yeong and Ye Beom watch. The two do not stop there, continuing their closeness even while they were taking their lunch as they share the same cup. Upon witnessing how strangely close the two have been, So Yeong finally asks if it is normal to share the same cup with someone. Taehyun, being defensive, responded that Dayeol is not just “someone else”. The two stared at each other and said “FRIENDS”. So Yeong still refused to believe what she just heard and proceeded to look for Ye Beom.

Inside the classroom, Dayeol gazes at Taehyun who is taking a nap beside him, and muttered the word ‘cute’. Taehyun hears it and starts teasing him which makes him stand up from his seat in embarrassment. In the hallway, Dayeol and So Yeong meet Won Kyung who asks to discuss something with Dayeol regarding Taehyun. They went to the back of the school building where Won Kyung started to confront him, asking why he was pestering Taehyun and threatening him so he won’t be able to join the finals. Dayeol has no choice but to answer Won Kyung’s question, and even asks if he likes Taehyun. He was about to answer him but So Yeong follows and interrupts them. A sign of relief is painted on Dayeol’s face. He proceeds to his daily archery training where his coach asks him to stay for a talk. The coach asks if something is bothering him. Your teammates did that to you simply because they miss Min Jung and remind Dayeol to do what is right, as said by his coach. Dayeol wonders what if he loses the game because he feels he doesn’t deserve it. His coach said he deserves it for working hard and passion plays an important role but too much enthusiasm and diligence can be poisonous.

Dayeol with a long face thoughtfully thinking what his coach said as he meets Taehyun and walks with him. When Taehyun asks if something happened and proceeded to ask if he was free this weekend. He responded that he has a lot of things to think about and is not free because the final competition is approaching. Then, he handed out his lucky charm to Taehyun for him to take care of. Time passes by and the long-awaited archery final competition has arrived…

Episode 6. A Shoulder To Cry On.

The long-awaited archery final match begins… Dayeol finally realized what he wanted to do without any regrets, but he still loses. At first, he doesn’t have any reason to pursue archery anymore as he had no passion left for it and only started to do it because of fear. He also admits he likes Taehyun and wonders if he feels the same. Meanwhile, Taehyun and Won Kyung are playing basketball. Won Kyung confronts Taehyun and says Dayeol likes him, which makes him confused as to how come a guy like Dayeol will keep him company after all the shit he’d done. So Yeong thinks Dayeol must be upset from losing in the match but surprisingly, he’s not.

Meanwhile, Taehyun lends his hand to Dayeol so he can improve his score on their Math test. Taehyun tutors Dayeol in the library, with So Yeong tagging along only to sleep. As she leaves to grab some food, Dayeol stares at Taehyun. Flustered, Taehyun told him to focus. Although he said this, he personally also found it hard to do because Dayeol was about to kiss him?! Taehyun stops him and tells him to take a break. Won Kyung witnessed this scene and started joking around, saying that Taehyun thinks of him as his “toy” and “pet”. Taehyun, clearly annoyed, leaves. Dayeol runs after him and asked if what Won Kyung said was true. After the argument, Taehyun told Dayeol to act like they don’t know each other.

After what happened at the library, Taehyun starts avoiding him and starts yelling at him to get lost. However, Dayeol insists on talking to him, and later confesses. “The fact that I like you makes me so angry that it’s driving me crazy,” Dayeol said. Taehyun starts speaking nonsense that all along it was a trial to see if he will feel guilty or not after doing such a thing. Before Taehyun leaves the classroom, Dayeol asks him, “What am I to you?”. Taehyun responded with, “Nothing, so stop liking me.”

Taehyun did such a thing because he was afraid of losing him. After all, Dayeol is the only person who consoles him. Dayeol is out of reach and has been absent from class. So Taehyun asks his coach for his address. But before that, she told him that Dayeol quit archery after the match as he also found something he’d like to pour all his passion into. Taehyun is stunned after hearing the news from his coach. The next day, So Yeong is painted with sadness as she finds out that today is Dayeol’s last day. When Taehyun hears about it, he rushes to Dayeol and asks for a minute to talk. Taehyun begs him to stay but Dayeol is firm with his decision, saying he is too much to handle. Before he leaves, he tells him that “When there’s a person who likes you, make sure to reciprocate it”. And Taehyun cries as Dayeol leaves him behind.

Two years later, Taehyun and Dayeol are now college students. Dayeol hangs out with So Yeong for a drink. When Dayeol got drunk, he started looking for Taehyun. So Yeong, the great friend that she is, called Taehyun for help. Despite Taehyun’s busy schedule, when the moment he heard from So Yeong that she was with Dayeol, he rushes to go to their place to fetch them. When he arrives at the place, So Yeong asks to take Dayeol with him. While waiting for the cab to arrive, Taehyun said that he wants to fall for Dayeol but he has a lot of problems to deal with first. He wonders when that time comes, will Dayeol would still go out with him? The cab didn’t arrive at their meeting place, so he has to carry Dayeol on his back. But sober Dayeol asks put to him down and said, he’ll wait for him and next time he should confess properly.

Episode 7. Epilogue.

Two years later. Dayeol is getting busier as he prepares for his upcoming police exam. So he meets up with his (now) boyfriend, Taehyun, at the library. Meanwhile, Taehyun is geared up with the “lover’s leap” they needed for their sudden trip for them to have quality time and for Dayeol to relax. The two head to see the ocean and their sweet and quick escape from reality begins. As they arrive at the place that Taehyun prepared for them, they went to check the bedroom. While laying down on the bed, Dayeol wonders how come he knows such an adorable thing like this. Taehyun just asks to compliment him. As their eyes land on each other, Taehyun slowly moves his face towards Dayeol who closes his eyes. When Taehyun is about to kiss him, he starts to joke with Dayeol that why was he in a hurry and he’ll kiss him later after they eat. Dayeol tried to explain to him that he was sleepy but Taehyun shut his mouth with an apple. He jokingly threatened that he might change the menu and grab a bite with the apple in Dayeol’s mouth.

Taehyun starts preparing the dish and Dayeol watches over him. After the dishes are served on the table, the two start eating and Taehyun feeds him the carrot and reminds Dayeol not to be picky. While the carrot is in his mouth, he asks what they should do next. Taehyun said to continue what they are doing earlier. He meant for the ocean gazing but Dayeol thought about their conversation earlier in bed. Then Dayeol asks what’s inside his bag with the “lover’s leap”, which turns out it’s a pair of pajamas, socks, a to,othbrush, and slippers. And he regrets asking for it. After having their dinner, the two wear their couple pajamas and brush their teeth. Dayeol asks Taehyun to swim at the hot spring pool and heads outside. Dayeol reveals that he hates winter because pretty things disappear quickly and Taehyun assures him that he’s the only pretty in Dayeol’s eyes and won’t disappear away from him. Taehyun asks Dayeol if he’s cold and asks to go to their room now. But Dayeol said yes, but to his face. So, Taehyun put his hands to his boyfriend’s face and Dayeol did the same. When Taehyun wants to kiss him, Dayeol stops him by splashing water on his face. Taehyun starts chasing him for a kiss. After swimming on a cold winter night, Dayeol lent his hand to dry Taehyun’s hair so he would not catch a cold. Taehyun starts holding him tightly as Dayeol offers the lollipop in his mouth and that’s their indirect first kiss. They get along with each other and discover the things they like and hate until they fall asleep with each other. That’s how Dayeol and Taehyun sweet escape.

Time passes by and the police exam is over. Taehyun went to a flower shop and bought a bouquet and rushed to a cafe, where his boyfriend, Dayeol, who is now a police officer, is waiting for him.
