Are the creators of Korean BL ‘The Eighth Sense’ hinting that a second season is coming up?

Earlier today, ‘The Eighth Sense’ Instagram account posted stills of earlier episodes of the series. Its caption included English phrases that liken poetry, artistically explaining the confusion of characters and their relationship. But the one that caught the attention of fans is how it says “Season 1, Episode 1” and “Season 1, Episode 2” in the respective posts.

No further confirmation has come from the creators, especially as the last two episodes will only be aired at midnight KST. However, due to their new type of caption posts, a lot of fans have been putting comments on their official Instagram accounts asking if the caption could be a hint for a second season.

Meanwhile, ‘The Eighth Sense’ is an ongoing ten-episode campus drama series created and directed by Baek In Woo and Werner du Plessis. It stars ‘Love Revolution’ actor Lim Ji Sub as Jaewon and rookie actor Oh Jun Taek as Jihyun. It tells the story of two young men in college who are on their own journey through campus and life and incidentally found each other along the way. It also touches on sensitive topics such as mental health, sexuality, toxic relationships, abuse, and more.

‘The Eighth Sense’ was also previously released as a movie earlier this month in Korean local theaters and the last two episodes will be released at midnight KST on April 27th at Rakuten Viki for selected countries only.
