Episode 3
After the meeting with CEO Pyo of the company, Uno asks for Seong Ju’s honest opinion on whether he will do well in a variety show. To his disappointment, Seong Ju thought that it was just a what-if scenario and told Uno to reject the offer as it didn’t go along with his image of a quiet and heartless guy. Although Seong Ju knows that Uno’s personality is the opposite and that his image to the public is actually part of his charm. Seeing the problematic look on Uno’s face, Seong Ju realizes that the latter is actually on the brink of accepting a variety show. While he doesn’t show it, Uno worries about the card that the producer has on him.
Meanwhile, the dog cafe gets a visit from Lee Eun Yong, the very same producer of the variety show, as she is looking for sites where they can shoot Doobi Doobi Jab. The clueless Dae Byeol is informed that Doobi Doobi Jab, a variety show where famous celebrities try on the professions of normal people for a month, received an application from his dog cafe. After confirming that Gi Min is also innocent of the sudden fiasco, Dae Byeol realizes that it was Jun Hyuk who sent the application. He tries calling Jun Hyuk to confront him; however, the latter has already anticipated what will happen and avoids him. Da Byeol tries to explain to Eun Yong that he is not aware of the application; however, it offends the producer as it looks like Da Byeol is making a fool of them. Upon Eun Yong’s threat that she will sue Dae Byeol for the inconvenience, Gi Min suggests that they let Eun Yong scan the place in the meantime. Dae Byeol gives in and runs to the animal clinic to confront Jun Hyuk.
Back to Uno, he tries to back out of his initial acceptance of the variety show, but CEO Pyo begs him again that they cannot handle another scandal from coming in. However, Uno insists that he can manage it on his own. He then asks Seong Ju to take him to the animal clinic. Meanwhile, Jun Hyuk nonchalantly admits that he is the one who applied for the dog cafe as a shooting location for Doobi Doobi Jab, as the pay is good and it will be able to handle the bills. He rubs salt in the wound by saying that the cafe makes more expenses than earnings, and Dae Byeol’s idea of taking care of it is not working well. Not to mention the fact that he also keeps adopting stray dogs and bringing them to the cafe. Since he knows that Dae Byeol will never chase away the dogs he adopted, Jun Hyuk sees the opportunity, also as a shareholder of the cafe, as another means of income. Dae Byeol insists that he doesn’t want to make money off the dogs, but Jun Hyuk reminds him that he also has shares in the cafe; hence, he can also decide for them. Left with no choice, Dae Byeol lets it go. On his way out, he sees the dog that Seong Ju brought and left in the animal clinic after paying for all the fees as ordered by Uno. Jun Hyuk informs Dae Byeol that no one has yet adopted the dog, and he understands that Dae Byeol might feel tempted to adopt it too. He tries to refute Dae Byeol and strikes a deal that they will first wait to see if the dog will be adopted by someone else; if not, only then can Dae Byeol take it. In the end, no one has adopted the dog, and Dae Byeol happily takes it with him. Just after Dae Byeol leaves, Uno arrives at the animal clinic and orders Seong Ju to check up on the dog. Seong Ju mentions in passing that dogs who are not adopted within ten days after being sent from an animal clinic to an animal shelter are euthanized. While he pretends that he is not affected by the dog’s possible fate, Uno considers having Seong Ju adopt it. Seong Ju immediately refuses, as he lives with his parents, giving Uno the idea to have CEO Pyo adopt it instead. In return, he will finally accept the variety show offer.
