Episode 2.
So Young praised Ba Da for a delicious free udon. Ba Da returns the notebook to Tommy thinking he came to the restaurant to take it back but the latter says no. After So Young left, Ba Da asks Tommy if he wants to go to the hospital and if he will pay, the latter says no and that the compensation he wants is something spicy. Ba Da cooks spicy noodles immediately and when they both tasted it, the two cried because the noodles were too spicy. But instead of tissues, Tommy asks for booze.
The two continue a happy conversation outside the restaurant. When Ba Da was cleaning up, an unknown man came inside the restaurant. He stared at him for a while but didn’t order anything. Ba Da decided to throw the unsold soup and call it a day when So Young came in. Since there were no sales that day, she asked for udon for her cut on that day. But before Ba Da packed her soup, Tommy stopped him and said that he had plans.
They made a free taste of the soup and gave it to people near the beach. And before the day ends, their udon is sold out. When serving the last order, Tommy accidentally touches Ba Da’s hands which makes the latter shocked. After serving everything, Ba Da thanked him for helping him. Tommy bids goodbye but Ba Da stops him. When the latter asks why, Ba Da asks him if he wants to be his partner if he is free the next day. Tommy just responds with a huge smile.
Episode 3.
the two finally introduced themselves to each other formally. Ba Da formally asks Tommy to be his business partner. The latter also told Tommy that 70% of the sales will go to So Young as her building owners cut. When So Young comes in to get her cut for that day, the two talk to her and tell her that she is busted and that they both know that she is scamming Ba Da. So to continue their business, she agreed to their terms
After accepting the partnership, Tommy agrees to have the 35% net income and a spicy udon and soju every day. He also says that he wanted to stay in Ba Da’s room. Ba Da got worried because he only has one bed, but the latter says it was fine with him so the two agreed to sleep together in one bed. The next morning, Tommy started to give a free taste of udon noodles near the beach again. They were sold out again at lunchtime.
Because of the success, they always sold out early the next few days. While Ba Da is seriously making the udon noodles, Tommy asks him to make a late-night snack. After serving the noodles to Tommy, Ba Da can’t help to stop smiling while looking at Tommy. When the latter noticed that, he told him that he wanted to do something for him. He did a warm foot bath for him.
While having a foot bath, the two had a deep conversation. Ba Da asks Tommy what his job is and the latter told him that he was unemployed. Ba Da told him that all he has done since he was a kid is learn how to cook, and that’s why he is envious of his freedom. But Tommy assures him that he was not sad about his life. They smile at each other when suddenly, a man comes in and calls Ba Da.
Episode 4.
The next morning, Ba Da wakes up without Tommy beside him and he suddenly remembers what happened last night. The man who came in his past lover. His ex wants to take him back but the latter refused and said that he is happy to be where he is now. The man says that there will be a cooking competition and he will be one of the judges. He wants Ba Da to join but he refuses. Saying that his business is doing well. Tommy interrupts the heating argument and tells Ba Da to join but Ba Da still refuses.
Later that day, Ba Da asks Tommy to take care of the soy sauce that he made before going to the market. Two kids came in to ask for udon and Tommy forgot to look after the soy sauce. When Ba Da comes back, he gets angry after seeing the soy sauce spilled on the ground. Because of disappointment, he gave Tommy’s last cut and asked him to leave. Tommy says he is a jerk like his ex before leaving. So Young tries to help him serve udon but the woman failed.
Later that night, an online daily news writer came into the restaurant and asks Ba Da if he can feature his udon shop. The latter gets shocked because the shop is still not on social media yet. But the writer shows him some photos that were uploaded to his social media accounts. The writer asks some questions and when he asks what is the secret recipe of his udon, he just said that he always works hard. The writer is disappointed with his answer. His ex came to talk to that writer and provide some information about Ba Da.
The next day, the writer posted an article about his udon shop and no customer came in. Nosy So Young asks him if the two of them are dating and if they are just having a lover’s quarrel. Ba Da says there is nothing between them. But So Young doesn’t believe him and told him that he should chase him because if he shouldn’t, someone might chase him. Ba Da realized that he misses Tommy. A week later, Ba Da decided to close the shop for a day and tried to find Tommy.
